Well it's none other than those hard-working Distributive Edu- cation members. Yes, this 40 membered social function teaches the student howto become a leader in marketing and distribution. The Distributive Education program is comprised of two parts, in- school instruction, and on the job trairiing. The student learns well when both the teacher and employee combine their efforts to teach this field, commented Mr. Berry. Where you yvork all depends on one's wants and capabilities, although all retail stores are potential training stations for D.E. No money is deducted from the pay of the student for the clubs benefit, stated Mr. Berry, Hhowever, we have club dues of S20 per year to take care of things such as financing our Employer-Employee Banquet, club pins, initiation luncheon and to pay for club travel to area, state, and national competition. D.E. enrollment has increased and as long as business continues to prosper it vvill keep increasing. We are only as successful as businesses are, concluded Mr. Berry.
