Fun-going freshmen enthusiastically seek nevv activities. Participating in sports and other such things as clubs. is a good vvay in which to meet nevv people. Freshmen this year seem to be more confident of themselves as in the past years. They seem to be not as shy and a bit more knovvledgeable, as is freshmen Maribel Fraire. She is pres- ently a member of the Freshmen Council and is Parliamentarian. Mari- bel is also into the B-Team Volleyball team. 'll enjoy Jefferson because ofthe friendliness of the students and teach- ers, stated Maribel. Not having tried out for sports at Henderson vvhere she last attended. she found it very hard to try out forthe B-Team Volleyball team here. After having the satisfaction of making it into the B-Team, she hopes to be good enough to participate in the Varsity Team, 1 A if - Maribel Fraire maintains great concentration vvhile typing in Mrs, Chapuis' class
