The club was lead by Ieannie Solis as president, Bertha Del Rio as vice- president, and Blanca Maldonado, secretary. Sponsoring the Pan Amer- ican Club was Mr. Richard Campos. the club's sweetheart and beau were Cindy Sepulveda and Ralph Con- zales. Fund-raisers were the Home- coming Carter Sale, canned-food drive and the first cotton candy sale at Ieff during April. Active members distributed Valentine cupcakes to the faculty members.

Thespians Improve Steadil Through the year the Drama Club presented You're A Good Men Charlie Brown, Dino, as their contest entry, and the pantomine group had one-act presentations which placed at different school tourneys. The Drama Club progressed at a steady pace throughout the year. The talent at Iefferson has great potential and their sincere desire is to work on drama, said Mr. Michael Towne, drama teacher. The students at Ieff are just great and through long, hard hours of rehearsal we can truly expand the drama club, lsaid Mr. Towne. lt was hard getting started this year, but as I gained experience in teach- ing and the students gave me more respect, we were able to work together seriously on productions, explained Mr. Towne.
