Avila, Ricardo Baeza, Olga Chaparro, Margarita Chavez, Lucia Chavez, Norma Chavez, Patsy Enriquez, Francisco Gomez, Blanca Gomez, Victor Gonzales, Diana Cutierrez, Lily Hernandez, Leonor Hernandez, Sylvia Leal, Terry Liano, Luis Industrial Cooperative Training fI.C.T.l was headed by Mr. Ike Iohn- ston during 1975-76 school year. I.C.T. is for juniors and seniors with the sincere desire to work. Their employment placement is in the industrial and dental medicine fields. The student comes to school for half a day and receives two hours of school credit. Along with Industrial Cooperative Training comes membership in the Vocational Industrial Club of Amer- ica. This organization holds District, State and National competitions, the V.I.C.A. Olympics, in which students compete in job interview, prepared speech, extemporaneous speech and best notebook in a job field. V.I.C.A. and I.C.T. held several fund- raising projects to pay for their V.I.C.A. dues, El Paso District Employer-Employee Student Ban- quet at the Civic Center and for use in State Contest. tal Steve Ochoa takes an order from a cus- tomer. tbl Working at Fox Dental Lab, Sylvia Hernandez checks dentures. fel The 1975-76 I.C.T. This year's Creative Writers staff formed in the second quarter, with only one class of the Creative Arts Magazine. The staff and class put out one edition of the schoolis liter- ary magazine, Reflections The publication of the magazine was their main organizational goal, hop- ing to educate students in the pro- duction of a magazine and talents needed to do so, including imagina- tion, creativity, writing and art skills. The staff and course were formed and are sponsored by Mrs. Lucretia Chew. It is a way to display the tal- ents of Ieff's students by encouraging the continuation of different types of literary work. The magazine Reflec- tions consisted of the publication of poems, short stories, concrete poetry, artwork and haiku.
