'All-State' Positions Achieved Three members of the 1975-76 Ieffer- son Orchestra were honored for their musical abilities by being named to the All-State Orchestra. Bass players Oscar Portillo and Fer- nando Mancillas, seniors, and Danny Lopez, sophomore, were chosen to play in the All-State Symphony and Youth Orchestra. This is the third consecutive year Oscar and Fernando have been named to this select musical group. Working together they donated several books to McCall's nursery school. Angie Escarciga was elected to the city council club which was dedicated to the appreciation of elderly people. They also served refreshments at many school activities. Angie Escarciga and Hilda Perez represented the club at a state con- vention at Fort Worth, Texas. The area meeting at Odessa, Texas was attended by Yvonne Guillen, Loretta Gonzalez and Terry Perez.
