Computer Field In Demand Cf Programers The development of computers, both large and small, has rapidly increased the number of employment opportunities in the data process- ing field. The Technical Center trained students in the many applications of computers in record keep- ing, management and research. The course included related technical instruc- tion and shop practice in keypunching, verify- ing, sorting, wiring and operating of unit record equipment, operation of Report Program Gen- erator CRPGJ, problem solving, flowcharting of problems, introduction to computers and com- puter programing. The student qualifications to enter the program were that the individual be a junior at the time of enrollment, must have a good academic record, one year of typing and preferably one year of bookkeeping.
