Hifi f -'f' 1 ' L ' 42 'H , ,, W- , , Weaknesses Hurt Roundballers In Seasonal Play Iefferson's Varsity Basketball Team faced with several weaknesses such as lack of height and experience, suf- fered a losing season. The Fox roundballers experienced a disappointing Pre-District campaign as the defense could not hold opponents from achieving victories. The offensive group managed to present a competitive performance at every contest. The Fox cagers displayed their scoring ability by ending the games with close one and two point differences. They terminated the season in fifth place at district. Standouts on the team were Iohn Hobson, Charlie Villa- real and Avery Peay. Peay was honored with an All-Dis- trict position and made the All-Tourney team at Coro- nado. Tfdl l T165
