Foxes Demolish Laddies, Rangers g Start Win Streak The Fox clan moved into Bel Air stadium to play the Lad- dies in the third district contest. Spirit was largely enhanced by the painting of the letter I in the middle of the field. Competition was at its best with the Highlanders ending the losing party by a 28-25 score. Riverside, winless at the time of the game, suffered an even greater loss to the Foxes on a 40-14 score. Halfback Anton Niles led in scoring at the city level with 60 points to his credit. I Foxes Slaughter Helpless Bears Homecoming ight The Silver Foxes, 3-1 in district, traveled to Parkland Sta- dium to tackle the Matadors. Sparked by two Duran scores and Nile's TD romp, the Fox squad deteriorated the Matadors 28-14. Sad news arrived the day of the game when it had been announced Ysleta had won the crown with one game left to play. Iefferson's offense and defense laid on the power thick and strong against neighborhood rival Bowie in a battle for second place in District 2-AAAA.
