In the middle of the first quarter first string quarter- back Eloy Salamanca was injured and was not able to return to play because of a knee injury. Reyes Canales who did a very fine job of handling the team to a scoreless tie took his place. This game left the Foxes with a 3 won 3 lost record in the middle of the season. On this rainy day the game was hard fought all the way until after five minutes had past in the third quarter Eloy Salamanca scored the first and final touchdown of the evening in a 10 yard scamper to give the Foxes their third 1ctory o( the season.
