All the lt cal schools in El Paso were entered. They were grad- ed on national standards. The two Jefferson students who were outstanding were Rallei Lawson and Ruthie Mathis. They received superor medals in the first division. Ralleigh Lawson sang a so- lo, and Ruthie Mathls also sang a 140
