She is usually busy issuing permits, checking at- tendance, or handling private student counseling. In charge of the American Field Service activities, Mrs. Cooper is often seen with the exchange stu- dents. She has a B.S. and M.S. from North Texas State University. I 6 Mr. Malone is an important factor in help- ing Thomas Jefferson High School run smoothly and efficiently. His duties include handling most of the disciplinary problems in a school of 3100 students. He also assists Mr. Smith in organization and policy for the school. Thomas Jefferson is fortunate in hav- ing a man of Mr. Malone's ability as Assistant Principal.

fir. C. C. Smith Principal Mr. Smith may he called the busiest man at Thomas Jefferson High School. His activi- ties as Principal include not only coordinating teacher and student viewpoints and organiza- tion, but also working with the President of the P.T.A. and being present at Thomas ,lefferson's extracurricular activities. The stu- dents and teachers thank Mr. Smith for his constant interest in the school and for the integrity and tact with which he has handled his first year at Thomas Jefferson. . . . forming school policy . . . making daily announcements
