Fellow .leffersoniansz In these times, it is wise, yes, profitable to remember the advice, recall the deeds of Thomas Jefferson who, it is said, was equal to all' occasions, good and had. He, always fully cognizant of the odds against him, fought success- fully the good fight. His was the privilege to pledge his life, his fortune and his 'csacred honorn in a war against military tyranny. He realized that there exist more subtle types of tyranny-ignorance, poverty, bigotry, in- tolerance. There could he no douht in his own mind as to what was right and good, no hesitation once he had decided what was right and good. He never gave miserly of his courage. Unswerving was his loyalty. Deep was his faith in the ultimate victory. Fellow Jeffersonians, we must carry on with similar faith, loyalty and courage. Nothing less will serve. Sincerely, MORRIS C. COHEN
