The Concert Choir anxiously awaits the signal from their conductor. The darkened auditorium sets the mood for an enioyable program. C3OI'1C3e1 l5S The music program at Thomas Jefferson has been exceptionally good for the first year. Under the direction of Mr. Bybee and Mr. Ashton, the choir took part in many beautiful concerts. They sang various composi- tions, ranging from Bach chorales to Negro spirituals. Mr. Eland did an outstanding iob with the orchestra, also, and their contributions to school music were inspiring. instruments poised, the Concert Orchestra blends the tones of their various instruments into a crescenclo of sound. Among many activities are speeches at 1 blies, public service activities, and meets. In their competitive speech ities they have done much to extend tame and respect of our school, a maintaining a high quality of ac ment. Jefferson's iunior high team was also a winner year.
