Reep We wrote and wrote and wrote, and then we wrote some more. Our brains were drained, but we were prodded on to think, to create, to write, and to use good grammar. With never-ending determination Mrs. Reep prepared us for College English, gave us a taste of Shakespeare and Beowulf, and taught us to express ourselves in writing. But she did more. When we played soccer and basket- ball, she was there cheering. She sold tickets or worked in the concession stand, but she was always there pull- ing for us. She dressed up for tacky day, she served food and ran relay races at the school picnic. At the Hart-A- Fair she conducted the Book Fair. After school and during lunch Mrs. Reep was in the li- brary ready to help a student catch up on some work, find a book or find a quiet place to study. She even kept deten- tion hall whenever necessary. But most of all she was al- ways there - teaching us, encouraging us, improving us, correcting us, taking part with us, and showing her ded- ication to Thomas Hart. For these reasons and many more we dedicate this, our 1974 Hornet, to Mrs. Allene Reep. Patrons Mr. Mrs. E. B. Cauthen Mr. Mrs. Lanny R. Gregory Dr. B. D. Findley Mr. Mrs. Crawford E.
