A written excuse from your parents is required on the day of your re- turn after an absence. This excuse is filed in the Headmaster’s Office. Unexcused absences and tardiness are subject to disciplinary action. DRIVING AND PARKING AUTOMOBILES: Students who drive cars to school are required to register them in the Dean’s Office. Once a student arrives on the school grounds he must park his car in the appropriate space and not return to the car until school is dismissed unless he has permission. Once a student has entered the school grounds in the morning he may not leave until school is dismissed without per- mission from the headmaster or dean. The staff of The Stinger hopes to produce five issues this school year. The Stinger was created to inform the students and faculty of school events and activities, and to entertain them. It is a means by which the students and faculty may express their opinions, ideas, and suggestions. The Stinger is a small paper, but it's off to a good start. Thomas Hart Academy won its first four games in a row, set- ting a new school scoring record in the fourth game (a 72-58 win over Christian Academy). Team Captain Dan Oates, along with Eldon Henderson, had 18 points. Jennings, Easterling ademy's Hornets Have 5-1 Record SPORTS Girl's Basketball Coach Ed Davis worked continuously this season to lead the girl's basketball team to victory after vic- tory. Each player gave their utmost effort to achieve a winning season. The school is sincerely proud of our fine team and its achievements. Our congradulations to Coach Davis and all who helped this season. Coach Tom Dabbs worked with the boy's basketball team this year. They kept everyone on edge each ex- citing game being victorious in almost all.
