Students Find Math and Science Challenging The Math Department enriches its courses by offering individual instruction. Basic skills of computer programming are taught in the computer math class. Skill Demand Expands Trade Courses The classes of power mechanics, mechanical drawing, technical drafting, and printing have all grown in size recently. The teachers attribute some of the increased interest in their courses in recent years to their opportunity to explain the purpose of their classes in a sophomore assembly before schedules were finalized. The orchestra class has almost doubled in size, as the program of teaching stringed instruments to elementary students expands.
