Here it is, “A” lunch.”' He doesn’t bother putting his notebook and pen in his locker, pan ee mainly because he has forgotten his combination. Fifth | period, | have Mr. Ridout.” is He enters his Government class and takes a seat. everyone calls Irmo is? He hearing from my lower: While trucking down the sophomore hall to his sixth period class, he has a fender. bender with a lirtatious sophomorette. “Oh, why excuse me!’ As they parted it se as though their e eyes never separated from. the crash since they watched each other walk awa oe ‘Let's see, Analytical. Math. What in the world is that? Oh, well, I'm sure Mr. Peck will tell me. | hear © he's awful nice.’’ He walks in and again takes a seat in the — back of the class. 'Hi Jan, | see we've got the same math class again. In walks Mr. Peck. The class silences tothe — point where one could hear a pin drop. Someone yells, “Hi, Mr. Peck, ’ to break the silence. “I sure have heard a lot about — i you.” Mr. Peck smiles and everyone resumes falking again. a Well, that wasn't such a bad day. seated. ‘Now children, get out a piece of paper, we're going to take a test.”’ ““What? “Aww, come on Mr. Smith.” “Just kidding,” replies Mr. Smith. “Hey, Mr. Smith, is it true the world is dome shaped? ‘Hey, Mr. Smith, when does the bell ring?” ‘‘When the period ends,”’ answers Mr. Smith. ““Gee, thanks! ’ Another form is filled out, but not without some rebuttal, of course. Third period, he finds himself in Mrs. Sadler's class.

Boy, everybody sure says she’s mean, but she sure seems nice to me. Maybe she’s trying to snow us.’ Another form is being filled out when the the bell rings. “We'll finish it tomorrow,'' says Miss Paulette. He checks his schedule to locate his next class: ‘‘Mr. Smith, again? All right! ’ The tardy bell rings and everyone is
