However, to us he is more than a symbol. He is a part of each of us as we think, feel, and act. We have a deep devotion to him that will never falter. He rep- resents our strength, our character, our aims, and our ideals. In the following pages the Senior Class of 1963 will give honor to this symbol that we so dearly cher- ish. Our school became as a home to us — a tremendous experience that is indelibly part of us. As graduation nears, we are filled with hopes and visions and we leave with courage, strength and faith; for as the weather vane shows the direction of the blowing winds, so does Thomas Dale show us the path we follow. In deep | gratitude for the excellent preparation for life, for the memories of joys and sorrows we carry with us, for the warmth j of friendships, the (lass of 196s dedicates its REFLECTOR to Thomas Dale High School. When our days have [ ended here, and Irieiuls of old must part . . . we ' ll always cherish Thomas Dale deep within our hearts.” 10 While Senior class officers prepare for REFLECTOR ad-taking day by picking up ad contracts, Senior class sponsors, Mrs. Myra Crump and Mrs. Daisy Reames, look at ads in the 1962 yearbook.
