Dedicated to Our Parents Through our lives adults have given us gr idanci In the school and church we have strong leaders. M any rf us are influenced by other men and women, neighbors or friends. The two most im- portant may be taken for granted, and remembered as an afterthought. These two people are both doers and teachers, doing and teaching both the commonplace and extraordinary. By their doing we have learned the essential commonplace tasks of mowing the lawn, washing the dishes, and the like. Only from them could we learn the essential attitudes which are both common- place and extraordinary. These attitudes are the foundations for our opinions throughout our lives, and determine which influences later affect us most. They are more than our present providers; they are the donors of bur very existence. Not only have they inspired us to our present selves; but it is their quiet confidence in us which will help us further. In comparison with these gifts, past and future, the dedication of the 1962 REFLECTOR to them, our PARENTS, is but meager recompense. 3
