Ill lllflllllltllllll In the passing of Mr E S H Greene the schools of Chesterfield Countv and the city of Colonial Heights sustained the loss ofa loyal friend and caoa ble superintendent He was educated at Wllliam and Mary College where he received hu B A and M A degrees Before coming to Chesterfield County he served as prun capal at Remington in Fauquier County Virginia His first positron in Chesterfield was that of Principal of Broad Rock Junior High School Following this he became principal of Chester Hugh School and continued in this capacity until i937 when he wa appointed Superintendent of Chester field Schools His work as Superintendent wws characterized by a sincere devo tion to duty and a sympathetic and helpful Interest rn the various needs of the schools under his lurnsdnctnon 3 . . . . , I S , . 1 1 9 ' .
