ROTC is . . . ... to me, a very fun class. Some people say that ail you do in ROTC is tests and push-ups but that isn ' t true. It ' s an easy class and an easy credit but I ' m not doing it just for the credit. I ' m doing it because I enjoy it and I like the military knowledge I ' m getting. I think ROTC is a fun and also educational class. I would recommend it to anyone that is interest- ed. Like they say on TV, It ' s a great place to start. Jeff Houpt ... a very good program. It ' s very good disci- pline for a person. It also teaches you a lot about the future. It helps if you decide to go into the military. I would recommend it. Mike Nicoson ... a very cool class to be in. You can learn some meaningful things in this class. You don ' t have to be anyone but yourself. You are never bored in this class. I like this a lot. Rick- ey Parker . . . fun and fresh. James McReynolds ... a training class of leadership. LaToya Ealy ... a class which teaches students how to better their leadership abilities and helps them become more responsible for the things which are left in their hands. ROTC also is a class which teaches students to work as a team and not just as an individual. Vionnta Rivers ... a great thing to be in. It teaches you re- sponsibility and leadership. It gives you an edge for the military. It develops skill and co- ordination. You enter to learn and go forth to lead. I ' m proud to be an ROTC cadet. Ron Tingler ... a nice class because it is not a hard class, and the teachers are nice, and the tests are not hard, and you take tests only on Thursday, and you only have to wear your uniform on Thurs- day, and the inspections are not really that hard. Tyrone Carr ... a fun class to be in. You learn leadership and responsibility, and you learn how to ac- complish many things any other kid couldn ' t do. You have different sports in ROTC. ROTC has sports most kids can ' t be in because of not being in ROTC. Billy Jenson ... a class that instills a sense of responsibility into the cadets. The class also creates leader- ship in some people and brings out leadership traits in those who already have it. The class helps people to go into society and apply their leadership in their job, etc. The class also lets a person know that other people count — not just that person. David Gard . . . more than learning about the army. It teaches you about leadership and respecting others. Debra Fisher . . . challenging, edu cational, and fun. It is ... a very fun and interesting class. It helps beneficial to you whether you go to the military people out a lot and will prepare them for their or not. James Combs future. It disciplines, educates, and enlightens its students. Ron Grayson ... a place you can go and you ' ll always be welcome. ROTC people are people you can count on. ROTC teachers are the best. ROTC is a subject where you can grow as a person and as a cadet. Kelli Williams ... a fun class. People say that ROTC is a hard class and is dull, but it ' s really not. It ' s just like any other class. People make fun of the uni- forms, but it doesn ' t bother me. What would our society be like without people in the corps and the service. You can have fun in the class, but you have to make the best of it. Mike Bates ... a class that teaches students how to be a better citizen and how to build a strong nation. Joe Fultz . . . interesting and helpful in different kinds of ways, physical and mental. Paul Horton . . . fun and a great experience. Shuanita Rowland ... a great way to learn military knowledge. You learn respect and how to get along with other people. ROTC builds pride and self-es- teem. Anne Rhodus ... a class that helps cadets to meet all of their standards. Nancy Johnson ... a nice class to have if you need discipline . . . the instructors are very nice. Chelsea Hudson 28 ROTC
