Freshman and Reserve Football The reserve football team did not have one of the best seasons ever, but they had an acceptable year. Some out- standing players were quarterback Mark Collins, running backs Mike Wil- son and Doug Privette, tackle Bill Ger- alds, and guard Elige McDaniels. The reserve team may not have had a per- fect record, but they had sportsman- ship. The coaches feel the team mem- bers learn a lot in football that couldn ' t be taught in the classroom— loyalty, re- sponsibility and working well with others. The freshman football team had a 5-3 season, one of the best in years. The team ' s hard work paid off in experi- ence and skill for future participation in varsity sports.
