Class of ' 75 Seniors have traditionally had special activities and privileges given them. These include -such things as senior plays, dress-up and dress-down days, pie-eating contests, tricycle races, and the option of graduating early in the year. Seniors are elected to important places for their last year at Howe: stu- dent council offices, class offices. Na- tional Honor Society offices. These are the best four years of your life . . . . Not only seniors but all students have heard that familiar phrase over and over, but it still holds true to form. These are the years of the big decisions about future, family and feelings. Senioritis, however, occurs in even the best of us. In some it happens during the middle of the senior year, the feeling that one is just a number, a machine doing the same boring thing every single day. In some more ad- vanced cases, the symptoms can begin to show as early as the last half of the junior year. Some have found a remedy in third-year graduation. For those who finish the four-year program, there is the June commencement. Many want to get a head start on jobs. Others want to squeeze all they can from their final year. All have gained from their years at Howe.
