ICT Howe ' s smallest work-study pro- gram, Industrial Cooperative Training, is under the direction of Mr. Jack Law- son. This program places advanced in- dustrial arts students in less hazardous areas of industry, with most working in printing and light industries such as machine shops. This valuable program has been limited in enrollment by the few jobs available and by small depart- ment facilities but has a promising fu- ture with the expanded industrial arts program. A. Joe Byrum locks plate on press. D. Jerry Abney proofs copy at print shop. E. Sue Plata cares for patient at local nursing home. F. Health Occupations: front, Carla Gandy, Marianne Dugan, Mrs. Ranch, Dee Woodbury, Julie Bruce, Brenda Goldsmith, Terry Vandiver; middle, Jeana South, Geri Robards, Terry Smithes, Vicki Norton, Penny Crane, Ellen Hockett, Sharon Stansbury; back, Ann Fulk, John Rouse, Jim Guthrie, Jeff Kirkham, Dan Walters, Judy Walker, Andy McClain, Keith Adanw, Terry Bevis. G. Geri Robards assists chiropractic treatment. H. Dan Walters entertains patient. I. Brenda Goldsmith performs varied diiiies at nursing home.

Distributive Education Distributive Education students work at various jobs in the retailing field. Their responsibilities include al- most all areas of getting merchandise to the public. Sales and cashiering are only a few of their jobs. The program is coordinated bv Mrs. Deborah Bareford.

Health Occupations The Health Occupations program, di- rected by Mrs. Norma Rauch, is one of the first and largest in the area. It also gives students interested in a vocation a chance to explore their chosen careers through classroom training and on-the- job experience. Students perform a va- riety of practical jobs in such varied health-oriented areas as doctors ' of- fices, nursing homes, hospitals, and veterinarians ' offices. Although closely supervised during training, they are given many important and interesting responsibilities including actual care of patients.
