Hi, how are ya? I ' m in study and I remembered I owed ya, so I ' m writing ya back. Make sense don ' t it. Sorry it ' s taken so long. I really don ' t know what to say, cuz I don ' t have your note. How ' s basketball going? Your first game was today. Did ya win? The varsity team ' s lousy. Are you going to their game Sat.? You ' ve been kind of unfriendly lately, how come? Did I do something wrong? Well, gotta go. c-ya, K Howe is a great school with a lot of good teachers. The after school activities are great too. I have been in two sports, wrestling and football. Coach Arvin is and was my coach. I think he is one of the best teachers at Howe. I feel I am getting a good education here. At 62 I was failing math, but now in algebra with Mr. Kemper as my teacher I am an A student. But the Discipline is too strict. I don ' t know why everybody says that they hate going to Howe. Howe has got good facilities, and a good re- putation as a good school. On top of that we have got a great student body that has a awful lot of school spirit. Maybe a lot of people don ' t like coming to Howe, but then they would ' t be happy anywhere else either. w i JfU VbJ T I think Howe is the best school in Marion County. The Student Writes, Draws
I think Howe is a super-great high school. To me the school spirit is excellent, and nothing could be better than that. Hope it never changes, if so only for the better. I like it here at Howe, because there are a lot of sports I can go out for. I already have an award for runningfreshman crosscountry. I plan to go out for freshman baseball as a catcher. Howe is a very spirited school, and known for its name. '
