Flory has the misfortune of having a younger sister, Mavy, who always manages to say the wrong thing at the wrong time. Millie Myers lDoriS Vogt, leftl and Flory lSue Osborne, middlel are doing their homework, but their conversation is mostly about boys and dates. Mavy Patterson lJean Kovac, rightl hears some of the con- versation and tells her sister Floy that since she is so dumb in school, she should spend more time on her studies and less time on boys. Mavy Patterson Uean Kovac, rightl and her girl friend Betty Ferguson lMary Lois Holaday, leftl are indulg- ing in their favorite pastime, eating. They explain to Mavy's mother that they went to the corner grocery and took advantage of all the samples the store was giving away, and they ex- plain, also, that the clerk at the store gave them a bag of peanuts, too. Seniors After surviving the many difficulties in memorizing lines, learning cues, extra rehears- als, and costume fittings, the seniors who starred in this year's class play, And Never Been Kissed, written by Aurand Harris, learned the show must go on. In the play, Flory Patterson, a teenager, believes that when she reaches sixteen, she will automatically become beautiful, with boy- friends by the score. Until that time she must try all kinds of beauty preparations and love potions before any boy will be attracted to her. Along with her best friend, Millie, she man- ages to get herself into all kinds of fixes. The i958 senior play cast gathers on stage to receive last minute instructions from their director, Mr, Tout.
