Around the campus familiar landmarks have been disappearing and new structures are taking their places. Remember tlie old bridge that used to creak every time you walked across it? It was torn down, and at sturdy concrete span has replaced it. And we had to give up the old parking lot in order to make way for the new addition to the main building. Itis a cold walk now from the new parking lot at the bottom of the liill to the Tower door. But we wont mind those extra steps when weve finally ex- panded into a new Howe. are now mechanized.

Classes were often dis- turbed this spring by the sounds of 11 riveting machine or ll busy bulldozer, but teachers tried to ignore them us visions of new classrooms danced through their heads.
