Sure, l know they're all qirls' parties, but l can drearn, can't l? I do all right at the afternoon hops, what with Helen, plenty of hot records, and three or four sacks of that luscious Vihota popcorn. By the end of the dance, l'rn dry like an en- cyclopedia and l start lookinq for a drink. The fountains aren't hard to find. lust look for a bunch of qabbinq l-ioweites, and there it is. Of course you still have to get a drink .... Lockers are another place to flap your trap before, after, and between classes, or any old tirne. 13

Helen looked sharp as a tack, but when Golden Girl Marjorie Harvey walked on the stage-well-. Budely interrupting rny reverie, Helen whispered, After all, Herbie, Bill Hanafee is Brown Boy, not you. . . . l thought about running for governor in our mock election this fall, but l decided to let Leroy Owen, Federalist, and Lil loe Pesut, Nationalist, fight it out. P. S. Leroy won ,... We fellows in the Hi-Y Club sponsored our first Heart Hop this year with a sweetheart 'n' everything. We picked Marjorie Harvey, Mary Beth Underwood, Kitty Lewis, Martha Payne, and Helen Thompson, as candidates, and Mary Beth was chosen. UPPER RIGHT-Marjorie Harvey and Bill Hanafee.
