j x Sl Typical scenes in Herl:vie's life during Howes fifth year. A Heaven! Two hundred qirls and me at an afternoon dance and party. Sure, l know they're all qirls' parties, but l can drearn, can't l? I do all right at the afternoon hops, what with Helen, plenty of hot records, and three or four sacks of that luscious Vihota popcorn. By the end of the dance, l'rn dry like an en- cyclopedia and l start lookinq for a drink. The fountains aren't hard to find. lust look for a bunch of qabbinq l-ioweites, and there it is. Of course you still have to get a drink .... Lockers are another place to flap your trap before, after, and between classes, or any old tirne. 13
