Dedication We, the Senior Class of 1968, wish to express our deep ap¬ preciation for your help and advice in our last year at Thomas C. Walker. Without your great ability to meet our shortcomings with words of encouragement and your untiring efforts, we would not have been able to successfully complete our yearbook. We shall never forget all of the efforts that you have exerted toward us this past year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you ' ve done for us. It is with much gratitude and devo¬ tion that we, the graduating class, dedicate this yearbook which is a symbol of our respect and deep appreciation to you, Mrs. Robinson. Senior Class of 1968 7

A Tribute We, the 1968 Senior Class, wish to express our sincere thanks and immeasurable love to our parents or guardians, who have shown their love and devotion through the past years. We would now like to express our thanks and love to them through the following poem. Easy day of my life I can plainly see, What a rare jewel you have been to me, How your love and life have been a bright ray To lead me in the straight and narrow way. Like a strong bank of credit and supply, No good thing would you withhold or deny, You ' re second only to our Father God, And treading the same paths His Footsteps trod. A faithful watch that beats true at all times, Unmoved by weather conditions or clime, Toiling constantly, without pay or rest, And always giving your children your best. Whatever we are we owe it to you, And all the great things we aspire to do, For your life and your love we ' re very proud, Our meek, thankful hearts at your feet are bowed. Gratitude, honor and praise to you, An earthly angel, sacrificing, true. May we always be worthy of your love, Its equal found only in realms above. Taken from Life Lines by Ivory H. Smith and Isabelle T. Smith. 2 1 2 2 X 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 «2 1 + 2 %2» T T T T T T 6

Our Alma Mater Chorus: Oh Walker School, dear Walker School Our hearts beat warm for you, We will ever sing your praise And wave your banners too. Your standards have been high always And we will keep your rule: We will ne ' re forget or ne ' re regret Our dear old Walker School. Verse: Our dear old school is sacred And it served for many years The boys and girls of Gloucester Amid their joys and fears. We love them with sincerity The grounds, the buildings, all And cheerfully we ' ll answer To every bid and call. Repeat chorus: Words and Music by Jennie D. Moton 8
