A Tribute We, the 1968 Senior Class, wish to express our sincere thanks and immeasurable love to our parents or guardians, who have shown their love and devotion through the past years. We would now like to express our thanks and love to them through the following poem. Easy day of my life I can plainly see, What a rare jewel you have been to me, How your love and life have been a bright ray To lead me in the straight and narrow way. Like a strong bank of credit and supply, No good thing would you withhold or deny, You ' re second only to our Father God, And treading the same paths His Footsteps trod. A faithful watch that beats true at all times, Unmoved by weather conditions or clime, Toiling constantly, without pay or rest, And always giving your children your best. Whatever we are we owe it to you, And all the great things we aspire to do, For your life and your love we ' re very proud, Our meek, thankful hearts at your feet are bowed. Gratitude, honor and praise to you, An earthly angel, sacrificing, true. May we always be worthy of your love, Its equal found only in realms above. Taken from Life Lines by Ivory H.
