Practical Sk i lls Sewing and cooking, which are so often asso¬ ciated with home economics, are just two of the many subjects offered by the Home Economics De¬ partment. Color and design units aid the busy sewer in making school clothes and Christmas gifts. By learning about home safety, the care of young children, and nutritious meal planning, students improve their homemaking abilities.
