Business Skills The commercial students, whose study deals with the practical application of clerical and business work, were offered courses including bookkeeping; first and second year typing, business mathematics, and short¬ hand. A new line of study, personal typing and note- hand, was given to college-bound students who wished to learn the elements of both typing and notehand and how to put them to use in their studies. Mrs. Thompson gives help in shorthand class. Miss Bevis helps a typing student. 27
