Highlighting Color Week festivities, was the annual Color Day Assembly. Varsity football players were honored escorting hostesses from various clubs and organizations. The Bear Band played numer- ous tunes and the students were entertained by the Cheerleaders and Goldengirls who did dance routines. The Drama Department took the spotlight when they enacted two skits, one of which was, The Bar Scene. At the closing of the assembly, the traditional prayer song was sung and it left 'everyone with a feeling of pride inside. Night fell, and once again, students returned to Edison for the Color Day Dance. Overall, the day turned out to be a very exciting one. . Who were they? They came from everywhere, all walks and rm. Freshmen, that's what they were and they came from the any middle schools that feed into Edison. At first it took some ne getting used to new teachers, classmates, and the everyday iutine of getting to classes on time. When the worst was over the est was yet to come. Many Freshmen were involved in sports, :hool clubs, and class activities. Some participated in pep rallies, ent to school dances, and supported the Bears at all sporting zents. All in all, the Freshmen had one exciting year. We hope ,ey will be around for awhile. 'XF' ip Left: Curtis Bird sips on a cool one at the Military Ball.
