Teens' Interests Vary in Quest Anxious to cram as much fun into as little time as possible, teens scatter themselves over the surrounding area - that is, anything within a radius of fifty miles. Bowling lanes, swimming pools, tennis courts, coun- try clubs, movie houses, skating rinks, and golf courses sprinkle large municipalities. Teens can make or break a place of entertainment. CATCHING THE FRlENDlY atmosphere of decorating halls, the picture above in- cludes Elizabeth Thompson, Sharon Moore, Sylvia Villarreal, Betty Jo Dess, Clifford Katz, Shirley Niehaus, Tommy Franke, Janet Brown, Edward Richards, Miss Fan- nyebelle Crossley, Sharon Hall, and Claud- ia Williams. Not only does school include classes and home- work, but it branches out into club meetings, dances, assemblies, and interscholastic competition. Students still find time, though, to date, get together with close friends, goof off, and do nothing about a third of the time. With all these things to do, teen- agers manage to be seen almost everywhere, causing adults to wonder at the vitality, eagerness, and ability of youth to be in three places at one time.
