The job is a small business requiring a staff capable of both lead- ing and following, efficient in business management, and able to write informative and colorful stories, but most of all, they must be able to meet and deal with the public. Cooperation of the students and faculty is neces- sary for a successful yearbook, no matter how efficient the staff may be. l lt is our sincere wish that the Spark will be rep- resentative of this year at Edison and that memories of this year will be recorded for you in the stories and pictures on the following pages. Joan Hamrick and Cynthia Croft begin to see lines and more lines as they work on class layouts under Class Editor, Shirlee Steele Barbara Jo Wyres, Mary Schreiber, advertising manager, Jeannine Owings, and Annelle Lykins work steadily and most efficiently through the year.
