if lCatl0ll Words are hard to fund as we try to express our thanks and admuratuon to a beloved person our mother of Thomas Eduson Hugh Mrs Mary Kate Muchot Many have been fortunate enough to know the fruendluness and love that has surrounded her durung the past twenty years at Eduson Hugh School Molly as many of us know her sponsored the furst Spark staff as well as the furst newspaper Bear Tracks Mrs Muchot also took the responsubuluty of sponsorung a contest to select a name for the school yearbook The Spark has remauned wuth us through the years and uts meanung us truly un relatuon wuth our Eduson the spark of the tncandescent lamp She was on the commuttee un charge of desugnung the senuor class rung as well as sponsorung the furst student councul As head of the socual studues department she taught cuvucs and Texas hustory and furst sponsored the UNY an organuzatuon formed to further unterest un the work of the Unuted Natuons Several years ago a group of young cuvuc munded people were organuzed to be called the Junuor Jaycees and Junuor Jaycee ettes sponsored by Mrs Muchot Havung receuved her Bachelor of Arts degree at Geneva College Beaver Falls Pennsylvanua she taught un Vuctorua and Port Lavaca before comung to Eduson Because of her great unterest un the world as well as a keen unsught unto culture Mrs Muchot has been able to unstull adequate background of past cuvuluzatuons In gratutude and all that our hearts can express we deducate thus T956 Spark to a person who has taught us to work to luve ruch un happuness and to grow strong un fauth ,. . 1 I 11 11 - ll ll 1 I - 11 H - , . .
