Mr. Arthur Drown Dedication One day toward the close of last Nov- ember the students, teachers, and community of Elmira Heights were saddened by the death of their friend Arthur Brown. Mr. Brown had been associated with the public affairs of the Village in many ways over a long period of years. He was respected and loved by all his associates. He was elected to the Board of Education in May 1933 which office he held continuously un- til his death Novewber l7, 1940. Our tri- bute to him is that we shall carry on and make our schools and community better and better. This was always his wish and ideal 3
