4 A ln Seplember, l938, a class of new laces enlered Roosevell. They came as line a group of youngslers lhal can be assembled in any one place anywhere. They had nalural ambilion and dreams ol doing big lhings. They were simple sludenls who soughl lhe knowl- edge Roosevell had lo oller. They were lo be lhe gradualing class of June I942. Now lhe lime of gradualion has come and looking back we lind lhal lhey were pleasanl days. There were days of hard work and sludy, and lhen again lhey were days ol enioymenl and enlerlain- menl. We 'found lhal Roosevell had much lo oller. There were clubs, dances, leams, and many olher groups where one could gel logelher and really enjoy lhemselves. Now lhis is all over and done wilh. Anolher chapler of life has ended and a new one is aboul lo begin. The imporlanl queslion is, Whal is our lulure lo be? Some of us will be doclors, some lawyers, olhers will be plain laborers, and some will be businessmen. Regard- less ol whal' we are going lo be, we realize we owe a debl of grali- lude lo our leachers who have done lheir besl lo give us as line an educalion as possible.
