Preface In this publication, OUR GOLDEN YEARS, are pictures showing the rich experiences lived at The Plains High School. One sees the expressions of happiness. Further, one sees the students in learning situations of activities, of class rooms, and as indi- viduals. Included here are the rough, crude nuggets of adolescence, the smooth- er, formative nuggets of the more advanced group, and the polished, glittering nuggets, or Seniors. And still further, one sees the admini- strative personnel who offer to us opportunities of learning and guidance. As the students go forth into life, may few, if any, tarnish; but instead, may the entire personnel of our school be substantial and reflect the learning obtained on teen-age level. Our philosophies will penetrate various societies. May the students of The Plains High School sprinkle gold dust on the path of life; may they promote the welfare of mankind; may they live happy lives throughout eternity. And to these ends may they be guided by the Supreme Polisher. 2
