B if-LA WS. 27 I XIII. A notice of every meeting of the Club, Whether stated or special, shall be posted upon the bulletin board at least ten days before the time assigned for such meeting, and a copy mailed to each member. - XIV. It shall be the duty of the Board to call a special meeting of the Club, upon the Written request of ten members, and such a meeting may also be called Whenever the Board may deem it expedient. XV. The notice of a special meeting shall specify the time, and also the purpose for which it may be called, and such meeting shall not consider, nor take action on, any matter other than that specified in the said notice. XVI. At any meeting of the Club for action on the conduct of a member which may involve his ex- pulsion, or for an alteration of the By-Laws, one- fifth of the Whole number of resident members of the Club shall be a quorum. For the transac- tion of any other business, thirty resident mem- bers shall be a quorum. XVII. No stranger shall be present at any meeting of the Club.

25 B Y-LA WS. XI. - At every stated meeting three Auditors shall be appointed to serve for one year, or until new Auditors be regularly chosen. The duty of the said Auditors shall be to audit and settle the ac- counts of the Treasurer and to present their re- ports thereof to the next stated meeting. They shall have power to lill vacancies in their number, and two of them shall be a quorum. XII. At the stated meeting of the Club, after organi- zation, the order ofbusiness, so far as the nature and character of the meeting may admit, shall be as follows:- 1. Reading the minutes of the last stated meeting, and of every special meet- ing subsequent thereto. 2. Report of the Board of Direction. 3. Report of the Treasurer. 4. Report of the Auditors thereon. . Reports of Committees. . The appointment of Auditors. r . New business. . Election of the Board of Direction and Elective Committee. ' A motion involving the expulsion of a member shall be' decided by ballot, and the decision of a majority shall be final. Proxies shall not be permitted. or MEMBERS. ' ICICI. 1 The number of members of the Club is limited to five hundred. i 5C5iII. . l No person under twenty-one years of age shall be a member of the Club. ICPQIII. Members may be either resident or non-resi- dent, but non-residents shall not have the right of voting, and on and after the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-live, no person shall be elected, nor become, a non-resi- dent member. '
