VW Q W Q V, ,l A TRI-CAPTAINS CRESSiE PATTERSON, BLANCHE SLADE, JENNlFER ALLEN GIRLS' VARSITY BASKETBALL COACH PETER STRlCKLAND The 4987-88 Varsity womens basket- ball team completed its most success- ful season to date with a 42-8 record. The lady'Falcons finished third in the Triad Conference regular season standings and they made it to the semi-finals of the Conference Tourna- ment. People can tell by the records set and the accomplishments made this season that the players performed well defensively and together as a team. This is best exemplified by the fact that all three seniors made All- Conference. I am very proud of what this group of young women accomplished this year. They overcame injuries and lack of size to take it to every team we played this year.
