During this sensitive transitional period from elementary school to high school, Middle School students experience the changes that come from increased responsibility, a more rigororus academic environment, additional athletic opportunities, as well as various extracurricular activities. Students must make choices during this time when peer pressure is greatest and conflicting emotions are common. The Middle School faculty recognizes just how significant these years are and thus strives to give each student a taste of success, a yearning for independence, a sense of direction, and a sincere desire to develop potentialities. An abundance of energy and a high level of creativity, coupled with a more sophisticiated level of thought, often make this age group a most interesting one to teach. smrf e mv l.
