DED CATI ON For the past three years, the Class ot 1987 has had the extreme pleasure ot walking the halls ot Morgan in the midst ot this year's dedicatee. Her influence, however, has extended tar beyond the walls ot Morgan and even the bound- aries of Clinton. ln our travels with her, we have not only seen the scenic shores ot Connecticut - The Castle lnn and The Water's Edge - but also the exotic cultures ot the world. Whether we swiv- eled our hips with the belly dancers ot Spain, danced the night away at the discotecas ot Puerto Rico, or soaked in the sun on the white sands of Mexico, as long as we were having lun, she was having tun. And fun is the key. lt has been her unmatched talent at the Twist , adven- tures with Don Quijote, holiday decora- tions, jolly laughter and boundless friendship that has enhanced our daily routines ot high school with a bit ot lite. ln appreciation ot her ambition and desire to learn as well as instruct, and console as well as advise, we, the Class ot l987, attectionately call her Senora Pes- cadora, and with the utmost pride dedi- cate our yearbook to . . . Carole Fisher.

We hope that they will always remember and cherish the friendships and good times that they have had here at Morgan These fine men have helped generations of students to grow and become better people Will will be remembered for his years as both guidance counselor and track coach Mr Powell will be remembered for his excellence in teaching chemistry and his quick wit and Mr Scherrnerhorn for his dedication to science and on the baseball diamond We wish them the best of luck in the future and hope that their years of retirement will be enloyable ones Those of us who knew Tom Fromme remember h1m for his kind loving nature This Warmness drew people to Tom and he returned it always to all of us at Morgan H1s students particularly en1oyed his classes and even though he was a considerate person those in his gym periods also saw in Tom a fighting spirit that can be seen in two outstanding experiences of his life ln World War ll as a Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Tom manned tail guns in a fighter plane He saw consid erable action in the Pacific where he supported his fellow Marines in the Salmon lslands Tom remained proud of this service and reflected often on the spirit of the Mar1ne Corps Tom s guest for action also occurred when he and h1s soccer team brought to Morgan its only state champion ship Onacold windy day Nov l4 1964 Tomssoccer team tourneyed to West Hartford ln a thr1ll1ng game Bill Falk Tom Fromme that led to an overtime period Mor gan won l to O Those of us who saw that game will never forget the Joy on Tom s face Although years have passed it is possible to look out at the Morgan athletic field and feel Tom s spirit is still there He remains a kind man and a quiet champion xx - II . . . . . .
