THE SENIOR CLASS It was September 1949 and school was open again. Our class came back, increased in number by one, and set a firm foot forward to do our best in this-our last year at Morgan. The magazine campaign started out pretty well but our interest in the Cotillion and the yearbook took up so much of our time that we-surprisingly-ended up last and put on the magazine party. After this was over and the talk of all the fun everyone had had died down we began to work on the Cotillion in earnest. Posters were made, decorations planned, and tickets sold. At last the big night came and it was a success-socially and financially. The music was wonderful. Then began the long and tedious work on the yearbook. Meetings, typing, pictures and many long hours were spent on it. Finally it was done and another success was chalked up on our list. Towards the end of the year we became joyful and sad. Many long minutes were spent talking over the experiences and fun we've had in the last few years. As our parting advice to the lowly undergraduate we say-work hard and enjoy yourselves for these are your golden years-the years you will always remember.
