The new members, Abigail Comstock and Shirley Goodhue, were aptly taught the cheers by the following former members: Ly- dia Pardo, Beverly Pendleton, Jo- hanna Soderstrom, Betsy Dibble and Gertrude Platts. With their favorite cheer 4'Ash Can they decided to have a little Indian doll for a mascot. With the enthusiastic spectators to help them, they followed 'our' team through a very successful year. f ' - ' f , ., g..zAcQ--fa-217 M' 1 I H441 f-gf-95 f , , 'n 4. The main project sponsored by the A. A. Council was the annual magazine cam- paign. The profit received was spent in purchasing a tape recorder, an amplifying system and girls' and boys' basketball equipment. These were enjoyed by all. The basketball banquet was well planned by the A. A. Council and the delicious food was enjoyed by everyone. They presented interesting speakers and the basketball awards were presented. The Council leaves the largest treasury that has ever been held by an Athletic Council.
