Tires squeal a shiny Model A swerves into the school yard a form leaps from the still moving car and races across the driveway and into the school. Inside we see Convict turn into the ofhce as the clock strikes ten. Yes it s Ed johns late again but late or early he is always neatly dressed. This is a must because that is what makes him so popular with the girls. Ed alias Hot Lips really sends you when he plays his trumpet' man can he toot those blues. Ed has played center on the Morgan six for two years and got the name of butcher for the punishment he dealt to the Madison players' but it is always done on the up and up. Bill who was our Freshman Class President, has been a very active member in the Student Council for the past 2 years. He is well known as the class orator. Billy has a pet hobby-bet- ting-all fair and square natch! When money is involved, Billy is involved. He has been a winner in track for three years and until he broke his arm played football.
