Weekly assemblies, held every Friday at 2:20, were originated by the Council, and the task of arranging the program and seeing that all went well fell into their capablef?l hands. Student Council pins were presented to each Council member at the beginning of the year, an emblem of honor, proudly worn by its possessors. The officers of the organization were: John Powell, President, Andrew Schreiber, Vice President, Helen Robinson, Secretary, Shirley Wright, Treasurer. The oHicers, under Mr. ,loel's guidance, formulated a constitution, in order that a permanent record of all rules and regulations might be on hand in the years to come. The Student Council is each year becoming a more important and respected group! 30
