COMMITTEE ON GENEALOGY. lt shall be the duty of the Committee on Gene- alogy to report to the Trustees upon the genealogy f candidates that may be submitted to them, and to collect and preserve, in accordance with the Con- stitution of this Society, information and documents relating to the genealogy of the ,members of this Society and of the Dutch settlers of New York and of the American colonies, and said committee may expend the funds of this Society for that purpose, but not to exceed a total amount of twenty-five dollars in any one quarter of a year, unless especially authorized by the Trustees. Said committee shall l consist of three members. I O 8. These By-Laws can 'be altered, amended, or abrogated only at a stated meeting of the Trustees, or at a 'meeting specially called for that purpose, and upon a notice of ten days to each Trustee by the Secretary, informing him of the proposed altera- tion, amendment, or abrogation, and then only upon the affirmative vote of a majorty of mem- bers present.
