-- The 1963-64 School Term Opens Anticipation was high for both students and teachers in late August when school began. The weather was still hot and dry but students didn't mind, They were looking forward to seeing old friends and to meeting new ones. Besides, there was a more than usual number of new teachers this year, What would they be like, the students wondered. Laden busses rolled in and when the final tabulation was made, there were 405 students enrolled. Mr. A, D. McDonald, former High school principal, assumed duties as superintendent. The Ag, department relinquished the services of Mr, James Pierce to take over the principal's position. What? More rules?
